We have moved (along with our unique house name) from Blairland - now the even less inviting Brownland - to Cuxac Cabardès, a small village in the Montagnes Noires, about 25 km north of the ancient town of Carcassonne in the Languedoc, South of France. We invite you to come in and visit us. . .

.  .  .  But what does it mean?

Per Nefer comes from the ancient Egyptian language and means Happy House. The adjective follows the noun and so:

= per - means house

= nefer - a generic term for all things good, and happy is as good as translation as any in this context.
